Hospital Policies

 Appointments:

Frederick Veterinary Center operates primarily by appointments. This allows us ample time for all patients and surgical procedures. Emergency cases will receive top priority which is why appointment delay is sometimes inevitable. Please realize that we always make a sincere attempt to see you and your pet on time.

Drop off appointments are available for your convenience. We do recommend giving yourself a little extra time when dropping off and picking up to ensure that the doctor has the chance to discuss what is to be done.

Waiting Room Policy:

A visit to the vet is a stressful time for you and your pet. Pets may be uneasy with the new surroundings, new people, and other pets which is why we ask that all pets be restrained or properly controlled. Please keep your dog on a leash and your cat in a carrier when in our waiting room.

Payment Policy:

Payment is expected at the time of service. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Care Credit, Check, or Cash.
