Frederick Veterinary Center Staff

Sarah Michaud is our Front Office Manager. She is from Baltimore, MD and moved to Frederick in 2009 with her boyfriend Kevin. Her parents still live in Baltimore and her sister lives in Asheville, NC with Sarah's kitty nephew Calvin and kitty niece Carmen. Sarah has a Bluetick Coonhound named Roy who she adopted from the Frederick County Animal Control in August of 2009. If she could have any animal in the world, she would have a chimpanzee for she and Roy to be friends with. Her favorite thing about Frederick Veterinary Center is all of the clients and their pets; without them, we couldn't do what we do best!

Christie Kinnamont is our Receptionist. She, her parents and her four sisters and one brother all live in Frederick, MD. Christie has a tuxedo cat named Elle who she adopted from the Frederick County Animal Control in May 2010 and an orange tabby cat named Juice. If she could have any animal in the world, she wouldn't be able to choose just one! She would need to have a farm where they could all live together. Her favorite thing about working at Frederick Veterinary Center is getting to see all of the happy animals and their owners who come in, and working with our great staff.

Danielle Vattimo is a Veterinary Technician here at Frederick Veterinary Center. She is from Aspers, PA where her parents and her brother Josh still live. Her sisters Adrienne and Juliet live in Philadelphia, PA and Loch Haven, PA respectively. Danielle currently lives in Frederick with her husband Nick and their great pets. Bolt is an American Staffordshire who was adopted from the Frederick County Animal Control in June 2010, and he shares the house with the cats Ash and Cho. If Danielle could have any animal in the world, she would choose to have a Fairy Penguin because they can live in warm climates and they're just so neat! She also thinks that Bolt would get along famously with one just like he does with the cats. Danielle's favorite part of working at Frederick Veterinary Center is being able to work with the animals and people who are here.

Ashley Blorstad is one of our newest Veterinary Assistants. She is from Jefferson, MD and has a black lab named Roxy and a Thoroughbred horse named Crystal.  If Ashley could have any animal in the world she would choose a Siberian Tiger because they’re so beautiful and playful.  She couldn’t choose just one favorite thing about working at Frederick Veterinary Center because she just loves the clients, patients and our staff!

Becky Reeder is a certified Veterinary Technician. She is from Myersville, MD where her parents and brother Jason currently live. Becky now lives in Frederick with her cat Rupert and dogs Max and Rusti. Max is a small mixed breed who looks like a miniature German Shepherd, and Rusti is a Pug/Jack Russell Terrier mix. If Becky could have any animal in the world she would choose to have a Pigtailed primate because of their big personalities. Her favorite thing about Frederick Veterinary Center is that she gets to make a difference in animal's futures and educate their owners about good care.

Lauren Ward is a Veterinary Assistant at Frederick Veterinary Center. She lives near Libertytown, MD with her parents while her brothers and sisters are away at various schools. Lauren is currently attending Frederick Community College. She has a West Highland Terrier named Mimi and a Lab mix named Chloe. All of Lauren's pets happen to be white including her albino guinea pig Jellybean. Lauren would choose to have a polar bear if she could because it would fit right in with the rest of her animals! Her favorite things about Frederick Veterinary Center are the animals, clients and staff; they make her happy.

Kim Wiles-Hagelin is a part-time Veterinary Technician here at Frederick Veterinary Center. She and her husband Joey live in Frederick, MD with their three children, three dogs, and two cats.

Lisa Miles is a part time veterinary assistant who is new to our clinic. She is from Myersville where she and her cat Gizmo and dog Apollo live. She has two brothers who live in Hagerstown and Pennsylvania respectively. If Lisa could have any animal in the world she would choose a panther because they are beautiful and independent creatures. Her favorite thing about Frederick Veterinary Center is the animals and staff. Lisa thinks that they are all wonderful to work with!
